Ever wanted to watch the Chocolate Rain guy in HD without getting up from your computer chair? Well, Asus does too, which is why they released their new Asus HDTV Suite-HDMI today.
The standalone TV box allows users to turn their PC monitors into full HD TV sets as well as act as multimedia centers without even having to turn on the actual PC — turning what you always sort of considered your window for pornography into so much more.
The TV box provides the highest quality video (1920×1200) by using a built-in CE quality TV engine. Other built-in technologies include: "Dynamic Anti-flicker Brightness Adjustment," Advanced 3D Comb," "Dynamic Deblocking" and Flesh Tone Correction.
The device also uses something called Splendid Video Intelligence, which fine tunes colors for the human eye — finally tinting everything with Fuchsia like you’ve always hoped they would.
Users will also be able to connect their game consoles — PS3, PS2, Xbox360, Xbox, Wii, you name it, you can connect it — and DVD players to the Asus HDTV Suit-HDMI, allowing them to play in the high-quality video transmission input that they deserve.
The TV box is easy to use — plug it in to the TV/video source and the PC monitor and voila — nothing to install, nothing else to do. The device even has a picture-in-picture option that lets you go on the internet, watch TV or play games all at the same time.
