The Panasonic PT-56LCX70 TV wouldn't necessarily be as highly-touted as we tout it unless it didn't have its biggest sell -- the LiFi lamp technology, which really helps boost the performance and makes us feel like we've fallen in love again. We also love the price which is quite affordable -- especially for a 56" inch LCD HDTV.

The PT-56LCX70 uses LiFi, which stands for Light Fidelity. The technology is fairly new and helps achieve long light source life, quicker start-up time and high color fidelity on screens. This doesn't sound like much, but we can really tell the difference between LiFi and non-LiFi -- and we're not just saying that because we really enjoy writing LiFi.

Aside from that, the TV has 1280 x 720 resolution, a sleek all-black design and truly high-quality color and image reproduction. 

All in all, we're fans of the screen. The price makes us smile, and while it's not the full 1080p HD that some of the higher-end screens have, it's usually hard to notice that difference and the LiFi lamp more than makes up for that in any case. If you're shopping for a good TV for a very affordable price, we definitely suggest the Panasonic PT-56LCX70.
