Samsung LNT2642H 26" LCD HDTV

The Samsung LNT2642H 40" LCD HDTV is an older version of the Samsung LNT4053H and has a few differences. The chief difference is in the HD quality -- the LNT4053H plays full 1080p, while the LNT2642H plays 720p. Besides that, the contrast ratio for this one is 4000:1, while the LNT4053H's is 8000:1 and the LNT2642H is 14" smaller. Aside from that, the TVs are mostly the same, with the Samsung LNT4053H having some minor changes that enhance the image quality.

That said, the Samsung LNT2642H is significantly cheaper than its younger, hipper brother. So, if you don't care terribly about the 720p/1080p difference (which, most people usually can't even tell the difference) this makes a hell of a TV.
