Reviews Plasma HDTVs Panasonic Plasma TVs Panasonic TH-65PZ750U 65" 1080p Plasma HDTV
The Panasonic TH-65PZ750U Plasma HDTV is a gigantic screen, and at 65 inches it has the ability to melt your eyes straight out of their sockets -- in a good way. It's one of the most powerful screens on the market, with a beautiful image, great sound and a price that would make any mortal man go into seizure. Still, who needs a college fund when they can watch the 65 inch goodness that is the TH-65PZ7500U. The screen has a full 1080p HD resolution, meaning your Blu-ray discs will look their best and make your heart beat with the joy of a thousand suns. The TV also has a 5000:1 contrast ratio, 3 HDMI inputs (2 rear, 1 front), anti-reflective coating that protects you from the unnecessarily brightness of the living world, and even an EZ Sync HDAVI control that lets you operate your entire home theater by pressing a single button on the TVs shiny remote. There's one major problem with the screen if you don't count spending over 4,000 dollars on a TV a major problem. The major problem is it doesn't include a stand and the stand that you can buy for this mammoth will cost you hundreds and hundreds of dollars. So, the question is, how do you mount it? To hang it on your wall will require various brackets and a fairly complicated installation -- especially if you don't want the TV to rip your entire wall off. So, we hate that. We had that at this price, Panasonic couldn't be a pal and just throw in a stand. Still -- this is a fantastic, fantastic screen. As we said earlier, the quality will make you vibrate in pure unadulterated joy -- it's a sight to be seen (the image quality, not you vibrating with joy) and, if you're the kind of person who can spend over $4,000 on a TV, then this is the kind of TV for you.
