The bigger the TV, the better -- unless you're trying not to bankrupt yourself, in whichcase, your cellphone is just fine. The Samsung HPS6373 Plasma HDTV is definitely no cellphone screen -- the mammoth 63" screen is so big you could practically climb inside and use it as a permanent dwelling, and if that's not the kind of TV you want, then we just don't know how to please you. The Samsung TrueWide HP-S6373 comes with a digital cable-ready tuner, 549 billion colors (finally including the oft-ignored "Purplish-green" or "Preen"), a 175 degree viewing angle, 1,000 cd m2 of brightness, a 10,000:1 contrast ratioand even an an auto-pixel shift to help prevent burn in. The TV also runs Samsung's patented FilterBright Plus technology, which helps the screen remain bright and shining, even when the sun's evil beams strike it. It also uses Samsung's other patented technology (oh, Samsung, always with the patents), the Samsung Digital Natural Image engine, which helps create nuanced, rich and life-like images. We love everything about this screen but its price and even that we can accept, considering it's 63 inches big. The quality is superb, the colors pop, the contrast keeps your blacks as black as the night and the FilterBright Plus technology really enhances daytime viewing. If you've got the steep amount of cash then this TV is definitely worth the buy. Who needs to feed the family, anyway? Things That Make It Special:
