The Samsung HLT5689S DLP HDTV is affordable, beautiful and every other complimentary adjective you can call a TV (adorably rectangular?) -- simply put, if you're in the market for a DLP screen, this little guy begs to be at the very top of your DLP-related shopping list.

The 56 inch widescreen HDTV has a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, an LED light engine that helps improv color reproduction, a high-end Cinema Smooth 1080p Light Engine and built-in digital (ATSC) and analog (NTSC) tuners for over-the-air TV broadcasts. The script also includes an option called My Color Control, which allows you to configure the three major colors (pink, green, blue -- yes, pink, we don't know why) to match your taste. It also uses Samsung's exclusive Digital Natural Image engine which creates the sharpest and clearest images possible and uses five image processors and a six-times density enhance to create a powerful image that'll all but eliminate the need for friends, lovers and the outdoors.

We love the price, we love the quality and we think love how it looks on the outside -- if this TV wasn't inanimate, we're almost postive we'd be dragging it down the altar. If you've got the cash and are looking for a DLP screen -- this one is it.
